Judge Milton Jamison Durham, compotroller of the Treasury during Cleveland's administration and Congressman several terms from the 8th KY District died at his residence in Lexington, KY on Sunday afternoon of pneumonia at the age of 87 years. He was a cousin of the late Jesse Youse Durham of Waveland and Samuel Wallace Durham of Marion, Iowa. He was a prominent Odd Fellow, having served as Grand Sire of the Order in the United States. He possessed the highest type of citizenship and for 50 years was a leader in the work of the Methodist Church in Kentucky. Judge Durham was the last of a long line of first cousins. - kbz
