Mrs. Mattie Durham, 60 years old, a former resident of Waveland, died at 4 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home in Indianapolis. Her death was due to heart trouble. She was the widow of the late Pinkney Durham. She was born near here and lived here most of her life. Recently she moved to Indianapolis. Before her marriage she was Miss Mattie Watson of Waveland. She is survived by four sons, Raymond, Joseph, Leland and Julian of Waveland and a sister, Miss Vernia (?) Reher of Aurora, Neb. Funeral services will be Tuesday at Indianapolis. - kbz

Mrs. Joseph Pinkney Durham died in Indianapolis at four on Sunday afternoon. Her death was unexpected as she had not been ill. Funeral services on Tuesday afternoon were attended by WY Durham and J. Bell Durham. Burial at Crown Hill. Mr. Durham died about seven years ago. There are four sons, all living in Indianapolis: Raymond, Leland, Joseph and Milton. Raymond and Joseph are married. Mrs. Durham was b. in Waveland and lived with her mother, Mrs. Lucinda Watson on the corner where the Robert Glover house now stands. She had one sister, Mrs. Vannie Bever of Aurora, Neb. She was a cousin of Dr. AJ Kleiser and Albert Kleiser. - kbz

Mrs. Martha Watson Durham, 61 years old, 1155 W. 30th street died suddenly yesterday morning while attending church services at the Home Presbyterian Church W 31st and Rader streets.  Death was due to heart trouble.  She is survived by four sons: Raymond W; Joseph P; Leland V and Milton W. Durham. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.  - kbz
