Mrs. Ina Durham, 74 of Waveland sustained a fatal heart attack about 9 p.m. Monday Nov 30, 1964 while she was attending an Order of Eastern Star Lodge meeting at the Masonic Hall here. Mrs. Durham lived most of her life in this community and for many years was in charge of the annual cancer Food Drive. She was a charter member of OES and American Legion Auxiliary, Waveland. She also was a member of the Waveland Methodist Church, and Home Economics Club and Department Club. She was recording secretary of the church and a member of the Modern Martha class of the church. Born in Montezuma she was a daughter of William and Sarah Trump Barton. She married Guy Durham Dept 19, 1906 at Crawfordsville. Survivors include the husband, a daughter, Mrs. Harry Inskeep; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Murphy; 7 grandsons; six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted Thursday morning for Ina B. Durham at the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, Waveland, Rev. Walter Porter officiated, assisted by Rev. Paul Bingham and Rev. CN McBrayer. Pallbearers were Keith, David, Robert, Philip, Roland and Don Inskeep, all grandsons of Mrs. Durham. Flowers were carried by the pallbearers and granddaughters-in-law. NR Walker played soft music on the organ. Burial in Old Union Cemetery, Waveland. - kbz
