Waveland - Guy Wakefield DURHAM 88 died Friday in Ben Hur Nursing Home, Crawfordsville. He was a retired farmer and had lived most of his life in the Waveland community. He was a member of the Waveland United Methodist Church and 50-year member of Waveland Masonic Lodge 300. Born July 30, 1885 in Montgomery County, he was a son of Charles and Henrietta Norcross Durham. He was married to Ina Barton at Crawfordsville Sept 19, 1906. She preceded him in death. Survivors include a brother, Fred of Waveland; a sister, Mrs. Lucy Gillis of Cayuga; 7 grandsons and 17 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Machledt & Services Funeral Home, with Rev. John VanVactor officiating. Burial will be in Old Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Sunday.
