ROCKVILLE – Mrs. Jessie Duree, 83, of Rockville, a member of Montezuma Methodist Church, died Wednesday in Union Hospital at Terre Haute. Born April 5, 1891, near Clinton, she was the daughter of William and Nina Hise Amerman. She married Charles Duree, who died in 1939. Survivors include a son, William, of Bridgeport, Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Nina VanHook and Mrs. Marcella Todd of Brazil; a brother, Roy Amerman of Kansas City, Kan.; six grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday in Barnes Mortuary here with the Rev. James O. Trousdale officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery near Montezuma. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday. – jlr
