VEEDERSBURG - Services for Robert David Duprey, 47, Veedersburg, state highway employee who was killed Monday in an accident along U.S. 136 near here, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday in Bodine & Shelby Funeral Home at Covington. The Rev. Alfred Dobbs will officiate and burial will be in Kingman Fraternal Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday. He had been employed by the state for about one year and prior to that had worked for Harrison Steel Castings Co. at Attica and G. & J. Palmer Distributing Co. at Danville, Ill. Mr. Duprey had resided here for 10 years and prior to that at Perrysville and Cates. Born April 8, 1929 at Westville, Ill., he was the son of Albert and Helen Harper Duprey. He was married to the former Patsy Hensley. She survives. Other survivors are three daughters, Cindy S. and Lesa Ann at home and Mrs. Dwayne (Sharon) Reed of Covington; a son, Donald of Georgetown, Ill.; a brother, Jack of Georgetown; a sister, Mrs. Gene Maylone of Iowa; and two grandchildren. - jlr
