EM Dunnington of
Frankfort hung himself in his barn on Thursday night. He was a man of
considerable property and being in poor health he killed himself because he had
to retire from active business. The man had climbed up on a ladder that he
might get astride of a beam to his barn loft, then tied a strong strap around
the beam and to his neck and jumped off. He was a brother to Dr. Dunnington of
Darlington and ex-mayor Dunnington of Frankfort. For several years he traveled
for the Troy Stove Company and for a short time resided in this city where he
had many friends. His wife survives. They had no children. - kbz
