James Dunn, who has been confined to his room with consumption for several weeks, died on last Saturday evening. His funeral was conducted by Rev. Buckles on Monday afternoon. The deceased was a native of Rochester, New York at which place he had parents living. He had been a sporting man of considerable note, and whatever may be said of his manner of life, his liberality and open-handed charity of the poor and suffering wherever he was, were such as to create universal respect among those who knew him best. - typed by kbz
