Source: Crawfordsville Star, Montgomery County, Indiana Jan 26, 1894 p 3

As the result of blood poisoning, resulting from an injured limb caused by being thrown from a buggy several years ago, Irwin Dunn died at his residence north of the city on Thursday evening, in his 75th year. He was one of the oldest citizens of Crawfordsville and the son of Nathaniel Dunn, one of the founders of the city. He was a brother of Mrs. Charles Harding and Mrs. FM Simms of this city and other sisters elsewhere. He was a good citizen in all respect, genial, kind and honorable. His last hours were in a conscious state and only a short time before his death he made his will. He leaves a wife and several children, all of grown estate. The time of the funeral will not be set till word can be had of his son, WM. A. Dunn, who is a railroad conductor in California. - transcribed by kbz
