LADOGA – Leonard L. Duncan, 78, of Ladoga, who farmed in this area for 33 years, died Monday night in Home Hospital at Lafayette. He had resided at Lafayette from 1924 to 1941 and was employed as manager of Lamson Brothers Investment Co. Born at Drake's Creek, Ark, he was reared at Pampa, Tex. A veteran of World War I, he saw service with the U.S. Navy. Mr. Duncan was a past commander of the Ladoga American Legion Post. He was also active with the Crawfordsville Flying Club. He was married to Mildred Schriber in 1926 at Lafayette. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Rose) Bush of West Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Cecil Fitzgerald of Pampa, Tex; three brothers, James J. of Battle Ground, E.E. of Oklahoma City, Okla. and Ray of Wichita, Kan., and one grandchild. Services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Soller-Baker Funeral Home at Lafayette with the Rev. Lydia M. Sarandan officiating. Burial will be in Tippecanoe Memory Garden Cemetery at West Lafayette. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. – jlr
