Darlington, Ind Aug 15 – Silas Dunbar, Sr, aged 81, one of the first settlers of this county, died at his home in Sugar Creek Township one mile northeast of Bowers, about 5 o’clock yesterday evening from the effects of a paralytic stroke over two months ago.  Deceased was a lifelong Dunkard. The funeral will take place at the family residence at 10:30 Wednesday conducted by Rev. Charles Campbell of the Dunkard Church. Mr. Dunbar owned one of the finest farms in SC township, consisting of several hundred acres. Interment at what is known as the old Campbell Cemetery just north of the Dunbar farm. 0 kbz
