Brighton, Iowa Feb 5 – Funeral services for Lewis Cason Dunbar 89 pioneer resident of this community who died Saturday at the home of his son, Carl Dunbar, near Brighton, were held Monday afternoon in the Methodist Church. The Rev. CE Hehner was in charge. Burial was in Hillcrest cemetery. Mr. Dunbar was born April 2, 1850 in Indiana and came to Iowa with his parents when a child. He was married to Eliza Stacy in 1884 who preceded him in death. Surviving are three sons: Will, Carl and Bert; two daughters, Mrs. Carl Anderson, Davenport and Mrs. Farrel Huston, Burlington; two brothers, Charles, Minneapolis and Oliver, Washington; one sister, Mrs. Jane Bower, Colfax, Ind; 28 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. - kbz
