Colfax – Mrs. Emma C. (Parker) Dunbar, 90 of Colfax died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday in her home after an illness of four months. Born in Delaware, she married Elias P. Dunbar in 1889. He died in 1941. Mrs. Dunbar lived most of her life at Colfax and was a member of the Methodist Church. Surviving are six sons: Joseph E of Colfax; Austin of Advance; Willard of near Colfax; Harvey of Clarks Hill; Roscoe of Annapolis, Md and Theodore of Charleston, W Va; two daughters, Mrs. May Holliday of Coschocton, Ohio and Mrs. Lillian Judy of Charlestown W Va; two brothers, Charles L. Parker of St. Joseph Ill and Fred Parker of Grove City and three sisters, Miss Ida B. Parker of Philadelphia; Mrs. Henry Wallizer of Darlington and Miss Nellie M. Parker of Warren.

“Funeral Notice” Dunbar, Mrs. Emma C – Friends may call from 5 p.m. Friday until 10 a.m. Sunday at Williams Funeral Home, Colfax and later Sunday at the family residence. Services at 2 p.m Monday in the funeral home. Interment in Plainview Cemetery, Colfax. - kbz
