Charles Lewis Dunbar, 77, died at 2 a.m. Tuesday at his home in Owen County. He was born in Montgomery County on June 25, 1886, the son of Silas and Louisa Cook Dunbar. He had been married twice. The first of his marriages was to Ida Dain, who preceded him in death in 1922. He was later married to Blanche Anderson, who died in 1953. Children surviving include a son, Dwight of Anderson and a daughter, Mrs. Mary Anderson, Lafayette, who are children of Mr. Dunbar and his first wife, and one son, Lewis Eugene Dunbar, who is the son of Mr. Dunbar and his second wife. Also surviving are a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elsie Meagher, Rt. 1, Quincy; a sister, Mrs. Lucile Huntsinger, Indianapolis and a brother, Porter Dunbar, of Guaynas, Mexico. Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home n Cloverdale. Burial will be in Mannan Cemetery. - kbz

Charles L. Dunbar, 77, father of Mrs. MP Anderson of Lafayette died Tuesday in his home in Owen County.  A native of Montgomery County, he was married first to Ida Dain who died in 1922 and to Blanche Anderson who died in 1953. Surviving with the daughter are a son, Dwight M. of Anderson, both born during the first marriage and a son, Lewis E. of Mooresville, born during the second marriage; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elsie Meagher of Rt 1, Quincy with whom he made his home; a sister, Mrs. Lucille Huntsinger of Indianapolis and a brother, Porter of Guaymas, Mexico.- kz
