Crawfordsville, Ind May 14 – Charles Byrd Dunbar, 75 years old, superintendent of the Montgomery County Infirmary for 15 years, died today at Culver Hospital where he had been a patient since April 9. A native of Montgomery County, Dunbar was born at Bowers Station, northeast of here, where he spent his boyhood. In recent years he has resided in Darlington. Previously he operated a grocery store at Garfield near Darlington. Surviving are the widow; three daughters, Mrs. Ernest Francis, Garfield; Mrs. Arnold Houston, Mace and Mrs. Robert Gilkey, Lafayette and a sister, Mrs. Martha Burk, Decatur. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at the Darlington Greenlawn Cemetery. – kbz
