Waynetown - Eula Duke of Waynetown died at 5:45 a.m. Monday in her home. A resident of the Waynetown area all her life, she was a member of Waynetown Baptist Church, Delta Alpha Sunday School class and DAR. She graduated from Waynetown HS in 1911. Mrs. Duke was born June 28, 1894 at Elmdale, a daughter of Phillip and Carrie Elva Sanders Biddle. She married Albert Duke March 24, 1912. He preceded her in death March 17, 1974. Survivors include a son, Donald of Carmel; four daughters, Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) Frame and Mrs. Dan (Pearl) Roland, both of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Donald (Marietta) Switzer of Danville and Mrs. Harold (Ramona) Hill of Venice, FLa; a brother, Robert Pruitt of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren. A son, Harold, two grandchildren and two brothers preceded her in death. Services are set for 2 p.m. Wednesday in Thomas Funeral Home, Waynetown with Rev. James Hatfield officiating. Burial in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. - typed by kbz
