Mrs. Emma Catherine Duke, former New Ross resident, who died at Mahomet, Ill., Tuesday, March 8, will be laid to rest in the I O. O. F. Cemetery at New Ross Friday afternoon, March 11, at one-thirty o’clock. Short services will be held at the grave. Funeral services were held at the home in Mahomet Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Duke, wife of Thomas A. Duke, was born Dec. 26, 1870, at New Ross. She was the daughter of Marion and Melissa Stoner and besides the husband is survived by one son, Francis Duke, two daughters, Mrs. D. S. Bilry, and Mrs. W. C. Wright, all of Cuyahoga Falls, O., a sister, Mrs. Stella Chambers of Linnsburg, one brother, Curtis Stoner of Alamo, and nine grandchildren. - kbz
