Minnie Duckworth Dies At Age 90; Funeral Friday Mrs. Minnie C. Duckworth, 90, resident of Crawfordsville more than a half-century, died at 8:20 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Eileen Shahan, 613 Kentucky St., where she had been staying since November. Mrs. Duckworth lived for many years at 701 Chandler Lane. Born May 27, 1873, at Lafayette, she was the daughter of Mose and Celia McDaniels. She was married Oct. 6, 1912, to Joe L. Duckworth, a carpenter and contractor, died April 18, 1959. Mrs. Duckworth attended the Oakland School in Lafayette. She was a member of the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. The only survivors are a cousin, George H. McDaniels of Lafayette, and a nephew, George Beatty of Alamo. A brother preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Bright Funeral Home, with Rev. John DeKruyter in charge. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Thursday. - kbz
