Veedersburg - Bert Drollinger, age 86, a life resident of the community, died at 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov 18 at the Ashley Nursing Home in Frankfort where he have been a patient one week. Born May 15, 1876, he was the son of Samuel and Mary Ann Jones Drollinger. He was married May 19, 1901, to Mary Walton, who preceded him in death on Dec 18, 1944. Mr. Drollinger was the last member of a family of 10 children. He was a retired farmer and was a member of the Scotts Prairie Christian Church. Survivors include two sons, Herschel of Kingman and John of Franklin; three daughters, Mrs. Lloyd (Maude) Barker of LaPorte, Mrs. Dorsey (Patience) Ayers of Frankfort and Mrs. Dale (Martha) Parkerson of Ft. Wayne; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 1;30 p.m. today, Nov. 21, at the Fishero Funeral Home. The Rev. Gerald Babbs officiated. Burial was in Bonebrake Cemetery.
