Mrs. Elsie Durham of Waveland, age 93, died Saturday, Oct 28, in Golden Manor Health Care at Ladoga. She was born in Parke County, Nov 11, 1884, the daughter of William C. and Margaret Payton Banta. Sept 1, 1915, she was married at Rockville to John Thomas Durham. Mrs. Durham was a member of Waveland Covenant United Methoidst Church and a charter member of OES Chapter 539. She served 12 years as Waveland Clerk-Treasurer. Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Robert Miller of Kingman; two nieces, Mrs. Mary Dietrich of Rossville and Mrs. Margaret Lindley of Kingman; and a nephew, Kenneth Morgan of Marshall. Fun. services were held Tues. morning at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland with Rev. Glen Bates officiating. Burial in Bethany Cemetery, Marshall., Indiana. - kbz
