William A. Drury, 50 years of age former well known resident of this city died at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis at 1:45 o'clock Sunday morning following a serious illness of about 3 weeks. Her death was caused by complications following an operation. The deceased was born in Crawfordsville, the son of Jeremiah and Catherine Drury. He was a resident of this city until 10 years ago when he moved to indianapolis. At the time of his death he was proprietor of the Business Man's Lunch room in that city. Mr. Drury married a Crawfordsville girl, Miss Grace Wait, a daughter of Dr. Wait who several years ago was a prominent physician here. The deceased was a member of St. Bernard's church in this city. He is survived by his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Cecil Fletcher of Kansas cIty, Mo and Miss Catherine Drury of Indianapolis; one son, William Jr. of Indianapolis, a brother George of indianapolis and 3 sisters, Mrs. Katherine Whitak er of Urbana Ill. Mrs. Ella Stevens of Chicago and Mrs. Henry F. Miller of this city. The funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning from St. Josephs Church in Indianapolis. -- typed by kbz
