Jere DRURY an old citizen of Crawfordsville died at his home on High Street at 8 o'clock Sat evening at 60 years of age after an illness of a few days of lung fever. He has been a resident of this city for over 30 years and was known as a quiet, honorable law abiding citizen. He leave 7 children, all arrived at the age of man and woman. The funeral took place Monday at 10 o'clock from St. Bernard's, Father Dineen officiating. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. --- kbz

Jere Drury, an old citizen of Crawfordsville, died at his home on High street at 5 o’clock Saturday evening at 60 years of age, after an illness of a few days of lung fever. He has been a resident of this city for over thirty years, and was known as a quiet, honorable, law-abiding citizen. He leaves seven children, all arrived at the age of men and women.
