Mary Cook Driver

Funeral on Saturday. Mrs. Mary Driver died early today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Jas. M. Mastin, 215 South Grant avenue. Mrs. Driver was taken suddenly ill last Saturday evening, having been in her usual good health up until that time. She suffered a stroke of paralysis from which she was unable to recover. Mrs. Driver was 82 years of age. The deceased who was well known here was born in England and when 16 years of age she came to this country. Two years later she was united in marriage with George Driver. The husband has been dead a number of years. The aged woman is survived by seven children, Mrs. Conrad, Mrs. Jas. Mastin, Mrs. Bruce Mastin, Mrs. Geo. Thomas, Mrs. O.I. Hitch, Mrs. James Shumaker [sic] and Charles Driver. The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Youngs' Chapel Church. Burial will take place in the Youngs' Chapel Cemetery.
