The eleven months old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm Doyle, died Wednesday at their home. The funeral occurred Thursday afternoon.

Fred, the little son of William and Leota Smith Doyle, was born Jan. 11, 1898, died Dec. 14, 1898, of whooping cough, aged 11 months and three days. He leaves a father, mother four sisters and a host of admirers to mourn his loss. The remains were laid to rest on Thursday afternoon in the Wesley Cemetery, west of town, followed by a concourse of sorrowing friends and relatives.
Little Fred was a bright and loving child, loved and cherished by his parents to whom the sad messenger of death was a shock that only they who have passed through the dreadful ordeal can realize. While all temporal ties are broken and prospects blighted yet there is blessed consolation for the bereaved in that there will be a sweet reunion bye and bye.
