Douglas - Gladdis
Source: Crawfordsville Weekly Journal Friday, 19 January 1900
On last Sabbath evening, Dr. Engleman was called to see Gladdis, the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Charley Douglas, which laid suffering with throat trouble. By Monday morning she was still worse, and the counsel of Dr. Hitchkings ((Hutchings?) was called and decided it was diphtheria. Later the little one died. – thanks to S for this one
