DAVID DOSSETT

David O. Dossett, 48, former resident of this city and a World War veteran, died at 5 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Veterans' hospital in Indianapolis, according to word received by relatives here last night. His death was attributed to a complication of diseases. Mr. Dossett was born March 29, 1892, at Dover, in Boone county, the son of George and Mary J. Dossett. He was never married. The deceased was a member of the Methodist church, K. of P. lodge and the American Legion. After serving overseas in the World war, Mr. Dossett made his home in Indianapolis. Surviving are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. A.C. Underwood, Mrs. W.O. Mitsch, Mrs. Paul Dice and Luther Dossett, all of Crawfordsville, Mrs. Oka Smith of Houston, Tex., and Charles Dossett of Anderson. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Proffitt and Sons parlors. Burial will be in the Pisgah cemetery near Beckville.
