Mrs. Genevieve B. Dorsey of Crawfordsville died Friday morning at the Ben Hur Nursing Home after a 7-month illness. She was 65. Born Dec 12, 1896, in Waynetown, ind, she was the daughter of William A. and Elizabeth D. Baldwin. She was married in Shelbyville, Ind Jan 24, 1914 to Raymond Chester Dorsey. They set up housekeeping in Crawfordsville where she became a member of the First Baptist Church. She was also a past president of the King's Daughters Class and was a member of the american War Mothers, in which she was a Silver Star War Mother. She was a member of the OES No 97 the Hospital Guild & Gray Ladies. Survivors include two sons, Lloyd I. Dorsey of Crawfordsville and S. Sgt. William E. Dorsey of Amarillo Air Force Base, Tex, a brother Albert Brannon of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. JH Thornell of Cincinnati, Ohio and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Richard, a sister, Mrs. Albert Morris an d two brothers. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a. m. Monday at Bright Funeral Home, Rev. MIke Riggs pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate. Interment will be in Masonic Cemetery. F riends may call at the funeral home beginning at noon on Sunday. The Order of Easter Star will perform its ritualistic service at 8 p. m. Sunday.
