Silas S. DOOLEY, 68, died at his home in marshall on Wednesday of last week. He had been in failing health and recently returned from treatment in Culver Hospital. He was the son of Barton and Hariett Dooley and was born near Marshall. He married Laura HOBSON March 5, 1895, who survives, with two children, Clifford Dooley of Marshall and Mrs. William Kinkade of ZIonsville, and 3 grandchildren. Corta Dooley of Waveland is a brother. Funeral services at the Federated church in Marshall on Friday afternoon were in charge of Rev. Paul Shultz. Burial in Bethany Cemetery.

Marshall, [Indiana], March 18. Silas S. Dooley, 68 year old retired farmer, died at noon Wednesday at his home in Marshall. He had been in failing health for a year and had been critically ill for two months. Born near Marshall Sept. 20, 1873, Mr. Dooley was the son of Barton W. and Harriett Dooley. He married Laura Hobson, March 5, 1895. The deceased was a member of the Marshall Presbyterian Church. Surviving, in addition to the widow, are a son, Clifford Dooley, of Marshall; a daughter, Mrs. William Kinkaid of Zionsville; a brother, C.B. Dooley of Waveland, and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Marshall Federated Church in charge of Rev. Paul Shultz. Burial will be in the Bethany Cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. Corta Dooley were called to Marshall this week by the death of Mr. Dooley's brother, Silas B. Dooley, who passed away after several weeks of serious illness. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon.
