Services will be Saturday for the Rev. Kenneth Dodson, 68, who had served for a time as an evangelist in Danville. He died Tuesday evening (Nov. 9, 1976) in Cambridge, Ohio, where he was conducting a service. His home was in Winona Lake, Ind. For the past 22 years, he has done evangelistic work from coast to coast, and had conducted services two years ago at the First Baptist Church and the Faith Baptist Church in Danville. A native of Henning, Ill., he was born in 1908, a son of Frank and Olive White Dodson, and was a relative of the family which runs a seed store in Danville. Mr. Dodson was a graduate of Crawfordsville, Ind., High School, and of Wabash College where he held Phi Beta Kappa honors. He had been chairman of the Council of Indiana Association Regular Baptist Churches for six years, and was chairman of the Fellowship Baptist Church home missions for years in Warsaw, Ind. Prior to serving as an evangelist, he had been a pastor at several churches in Indiana and Ohio through the years. Survivors include his wife, Mildred; a son, Kenneth, and three daughters, Mrs. Ruth Miller, Mrs. Lois Rowland, and Mrs. Mary Anne Pickell, all of Winona Lake; several grandchildren, and two brothers, Dr. Dwight Dodson of Sacramento, California, and Rev. Franklin Dodson of Portland, Ore. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Fellowship Baptist Church in Warsaw, Ind. Visitation will be at the Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw. – jlr
