Mort Dodd, aged about 30 years, died last night of typhoid
fever at the home of his father just south of the Masonic Cemetery. The
deceased was a well known young man and had been connected with Charley Smith’s
restaurant for a year or more. Although he had had the fever for two weeks, he
was not bedfast until last Friday night and his death was a great surprise to
his friends. The funeral will occur tomorrow afternoon at 3 o’clock. -s
