DODD, John Henry - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Funeral services for John Henry Dodd who died Tuesday morning in his home two miles east of Fincastle was this morning in his home with Rev. CL Airhart of Crawfordsville in charge.  Burial was in Roachdale cemetery.  The deceased was born in Putnam County Jan 10, 1848, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Anderson Dodd.  He was united in marriage to Anna E. Stultz on July 22, 1869 who passed away August 5, 1925.  He was a pioneer resident and spent his entire life in this community.  Surviving are two sons, William and Earl, both at home, one daughter, Mrs. Lon Lookabill of near Fincastle; 8 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Jane Young and one brother, Green Tood of Crawfordsville.     --- transcribed by  kbz
