Darlington – Mrs. Effie Lorena Dixon, 87 of Darlington died Wednesday in the Hart Nursing Home at Crawfordsville where she had been a patient for 8 years. Born in Boone County, she was married twice. Her first husband, LR Butler, died in 1926 and she was married in 1934 to Charles A. Dixon who died in 1943. Before moving to Darlington she lived in the Beckville community on Crawfordsville R2. She was a member of Darlington Methodist Church. Surviving is a son, James Butler, Lebanon – kbz
