Mrs. Ellen J. Dillman, the mother of George T. Dillman d. in Crawfordsville on Tues afternoon. She was b. in Scotland and came to this country when 9 years old. She leaves four children: George T; Mrs. Frank Davis and Miss Lydia Dillman of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Hiram Connard of Peoria, Ill. Fun. serv. were held yesterday afternoon. Mr. and Mrs. George T. Dillman, Carrie and Max and Miss Mabel Dillman went up to the funeral.

Mrs. Ellen J. Dilman, 77 years old, a native of Scotland, but a resident of Crawfordsville for the past 26 years died at her home on So. Green St Tuesday afternoon. The deceased was the widow of the late John D. Dillman, whose death occurred several years ago. She was born in Scotland 1837. Nine years later she came to this County with her parents, their first home in America being Cincinnati, Ohio. Soon afterward they moved to Indiana, settling in Bartholomew Co. At the age of 21 the deceased was married to Mr. Dillman and in 1888 they moved to Crawfordsville. Of a family of 9 children born to Mr. & Mrs. Dillman, four are living, George of Waveland, Mrs. Hiram Connard of Peoria, Ill; Mrs. Frank Davis and Lydia Dillman of this city. Funeral services will be held from the late home at 3 Thursday afternoon and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
