Linden - Mrs. Anna Jane Dickson, 80, died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday at her home here. She had been in failing health for the past six months. She attended the Linden Baptist Church and had resided here for the last 24 years. Prior to that she lived at New Richmond for six years. Born Feb 15, 11891, in Hendricks county, she was the daughter of Rev. George S. and Rachel Mason Joseph. She was married July 5, 1911, at Lebanon to Waldo Dickson. He survives. Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. George Bottom of Darlington, Mrs Carl Rohr of Lafayette and Mrs. Cletis Birge of Linden: one son, Paul Dickson of Waynetown; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Neva Bappert of Crawfordsville and one brother, Herchell C. Joseph of Thorntown. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a granddaughter, a brother and two sisters. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Helms funeral Home at Linden with Rev. Richard Baker officiating. Burial will be in the Linden Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.

Linden – Mrs. Anna Jane (Joseph) Dickson, 80 of Linden died at 11:45 p.m. Wednesday in her home.  She had been ill six months.  Mrs. Dickson, a native of Hendricks County moved to Linden from New Richmond 23 years ago.  In 1911 she was married at Lebanon to Waldo Dickson who survives.  She attended the Baptist Church.  Surviving with the husband are three daughters: Mrs. George (Doris) Bottom of Darlington, Mrs. Carl (Leah) Rohr of Lafayette and Mrs. Cletis (Wilma) Birge of Linden; one son, Paul Dickson of Waynetown; a sister, Mrs. Neva Bappert of Crawfordsville and one brother, Herschel Joseph of Thorntown.   ~~~Transcribed and Typed by kbz
