Stockwell - John William Dickerson, 66, former mortician and retired automobile salesman, was found dead of apparently natural causes Monday in his home at 452 S. Jackson St., Frankfort. Mr Dickerson was associated with his father and brother with Dickerson Funeral Home here until he moved to Frankfort in 1968. He was a salesman for Posey=Richards AMC dealership there. At Stockwell, he also operated the Stockwell Hatchery. Mr. Dickerson was a graduate of Wingate High School and a 1938 graduated of Indiana College of Mortuary Science. He moved to Stockwell from Wingate in 1934. He was a member of Stockwell United Methodist Church and Anchor Lodge 693 F&AM. A native of Wingate, he was born July 25, 1912. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Henry (Virginia) Hermansen of Brook and Mrs. Edward (Livona) Cook of Noblesville, and two brothers, Raymond C."Bud" of Lafayette and Dave of Clarks Hill. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Dickerson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jack Williams officiating. Burial will be in Meharry Cemetery at Wingate.
