Source: Crawfordsville Journal, May 2, 1910

Mrs. Christopher Dice, who has been living with her daughter, Mrs. Edna Gray, east of Tinkersville, died suddenly Sunday morning at half-past ten while her physician was there making a professional call. She had been ill for seven weeks and had been improving of late until a sudden and unexpected attack on her heart proved fatal almost in an instant. Besides her daughter, she leaves a son, Henry Dice. Her husband, the late Christopher Dice, died in September, 1906. She was sixty-nine years old and was born in Virginia, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. John Brocies. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of this city, but the funeral will be conducted in the Methodist church at Mace by Dr. L.P. Marshall of this city on Tuesday. The internment will be in the K of P cemetery.
