Indianapolis -- The funeral of Charles P. DONEY who died Tuesday at his home at 3345 Broadway, after an illness of more than a year was held at the family home at 2 this afternoon. Mr. Doney was well known in the real estate business and he was known as an authority on the subject of tax reform, particularly with regard to real estate. He had been a resident of Indianapolis since 1891 and had served as chancellor commander of Lodge 56, Knights of Pythias and as president of the Century & Browning Clubs and an active member of the Indianapolis real estate board and Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He was a graduate of Hanover. He is survived by the widow, former Miss Emma Knowlton and two brothers, both of whom live in Cambridge City. Mr. Doney was well and favorably known in this city where he resided for a time some years ago.
