Funeral services for Louisa Dinsmore, who died Tuesday at the Britton Nursing home, will be held Friday at the Hunt and Son funeral home in Crawfordsville. She was born in New Ross, June 28, 1858, a daughter of John and Martha Kelly Agee. She married April 13, 1877 to Jasper N. Dinsmore, who died June 1932. She was one of eight children all are deceased except for sister, Dora Auman. Other survivors besides the sister are sons; Louis of Illinois, John of South Bend, Arthur of Indianapolis, and daughter, Mrs. Dan Lookabille, of Crawfordsville, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial will be made in Ladoga cemetery --thanks so very much to Marilyn W. for sharing her Roachdale Times obituary collection - greatly appreciated !

Mrs. Louisa Dinsmore died at 8:40 o’clock Tuesday night at the Britton Nursing Home after having been seriously ill for the past three weeks with a complication of ailments resulting from her advanced age.  Mrs. Dinsmore was born on June 28, 1858 at New Ross, the daughter of John and Martha Kelly Agee and one of eight children all of whom preceded her in death with the exception of one sister, Mrs. Dora Auman. She was married to Jasper N. Dinsmore on April 13, 1877 the husband passing away in June 1932. Since his death Mrs. Dinsmore had been living with her daughter. She is survived by three sons, Charles Dinsmore of East St. Louis, Ill; John of South Bend and Arthur of Indianapolis; one daughter, Mrs. Dan Lookabill of this city and one sister, Mrs. Dora Auman of Indianapolis. Nine grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home at 2:30 o’clock Friday afternoon April 9. Burial will be made in the family lot at the Ladoga cemetery. Friends may call at the family residence, 600 East Market Street from Thursday until time for the funeral on Friday. - kz
