Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Dewey who died Friday eveing at her home just east of New Richmond were held Sunday afternoon from the family home with the Rev. Appleby of First ME Church at Crawfordsville in charge. Burial was made in the New Richmond cemetery.
Mrs. Dewey who had reached the age of 57 years, fell a victim to tuberculosis. She was the widow of Phillip Dewey who died a few months ago at Richland, Cal where the two had gone a short time before in the hope of benefiting their health. Mrs. Dewey accompanied the remains of her husband back to their home at New Richmond where the burial was made. Mrs. Dewey is survived by a son, Walter, in addition to two sisters, Mrs. Anna Lidkey of new Richmond and mrs. Della Jones of Crawfordsville and three brothers as follows: Quiem and John Kirkpatrick of New Richmond and Dr. William Kirkpatrick of Farmington, Iowa.
