Mrs. Grace M. DeVOTO, 74 died at 11 p.m Thursday Aug 12, 1965 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Lois Myers, in Brazil. Formerly of Marshall, Mrs. DeVoto had resided with her daughter the past six months. She was in failing health prior to her death. Born Aug 25, 1890 in Jefferson County, she was the daughter of Thomas M. and Eva Wade Tague. She was married to William DeVoto in 1912 in Parke County. He preceded her in death in 1953. In addition to Mrs. Myers, another daughter, Mrs. Doris Bishop and two sons, Arthur & Donald survive. There are 8 grandchildren, four brothers, Roy Tague; Jesse, Joseph and Walter and one sister, Mrs. Catharine Hussman. Services were held at 1 p.m. Saturday with Rev. Edward Randell officiating. Interment was in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, with the Morre & Son Funeral Home, Brazil in charge.
