James Devore died this morning at three o'clock, at his home at Shawnee Mound. The deceased was 82 years of age and was one of the pioneers in this section of the State. He grew up with the commonwealth and contributed not a little to public welfare. The funeral occurs Friday morning at ten o'clock, conducted by Rev. W.E. McKinzie.
