Mary G. Devitt, 71, died Saturday afternoon in Culver Hospital. She resided with her son, Bob, at 302 High St. She was manager of Red Cab Co. for a number of years and member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. Born May 5, 1909, a daughter of John and Elizabeth Bir, she married William Devitt. He preceded her in death. Survivors include two sons, Patrick of Indianapolis and Bob, with whom she made her home; a daughter, Norma Ball of Crawfordsville; a brother, John Bir of Crawfordsville; a sister, Leona Duke of Hobarth Beach, Del.: and three grandsons. The funeral will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Bernard Catholic Church. The Rev. David Clifford will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday.--waw
