New Richmond --Mrs. Jesse Devault, former teacher in New Richmond schools, died at a hospital in Detroit Saturday morning at 6 o'clock according to word received here. Death followed an operation for adhesions. The deceased who before her marriage was Miss Willa Kersey, lived near Lebanon before becoming a teacher in the local schools. She was united in marriage to Jesse Devault in July 1923, the couple moving to Detroit immediately afterwards. The survivors are the husband, one son, Billy, 6; her father and several brothers and sisters. The remains will be brought to the home of Mrs. Fannie Devault, mother-in-law of the deceased at this place. The funeral services will be held at New Richmond Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 in charge of Rev. RC Griggs, Rockville, former pastor of the local Christian Church.
