Detchon - Jemima

Mrs. Jemima T. Detchon, widow of the late Dr. Stowe Detchong died Wednesday evening at her home in New Richmond after a brief illness of bronchial pneumonia. One of the best known women in the community, her sudden death is keenly felt. She was 77 years old. For the last year Mrs. Detchon had been in California with her son, John T. Detchon the only immediate surviving member of the family and had come home when she believed that her illness of several years was practically cured. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home with interment in the New Richmond cemetery - kbz
