Mrs. Helen M. Dennison, 51, of 1002 Danville Ave., was dead on arrival at Culver Hospital at 8:45 p.m. Tuesday after suffering an apparent heart attack. She was the wife of Claude O. Dennison, vice president of Elston Bank & Trust Co. and manager of the Boulevard Mall Branch of the bank. Mrs. Dennison was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and Athens Saddle Club. She was a 1941 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. Born June 23, 1923, at Anderson, she was a daughter of Otto and Cleo Swarat. She married Claude O. Dennison on March 22, 1953. Surviving are the husband; her mother of Crawfordsville; three sons, Bruce, Clint and Matt of Crawfordsville; a daughter, Wendie, at home; two brothers, Donald Swarat of Crawfordsville and Cyril Little of Lebanon; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Elliott of Lima, Ohio, and Mrs. Ruby McDuffy of Muncie. A brother is deceased. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Miller officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
