Mrs. W.L. Denman died of consumption last Friday at her home in Greencastle. The funeral occurred there Sunday morning, and Sunday afternoon the body was brought here for burial in Oak Hill. Mrs. Denman was the daughter of John Sparks, of this city, and is known to many people over this county being highly esteemed by all. She leaves a husband and two children - thanks muches to Kim H for this one

The body of Mrs. W. L. Denman was brought here Sunday afternoon from Greencastle, the funeral services having occurred there in the morning. The funeral party from Greencastle was quite a large one and a number of the friends of the deceased were at the station. The body was taken to Oak Hill and there the interment took place, the pall bearers being D. C. Canine, W. H. Webster, W. T. Hulet, Ed Voris, W. M. White and M. J. Caroll. -s
