Roberta Mae Denk, 83, Delphi, died Saturday, Jan. 30, 1982 at the Brethren Home in Flora where she had been a resident since May 1981. Born June 21, 1898, she was the daughter of Robert and Virginia Teague Burford. She married Albert J. Denk September 15, 1919. He died November 7, 1961. Mrs. Denk was a housewife and school teacher. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and Rose Chapter No. 36 Order of Eastern Star in Delphi. Surviving are two daughters; Mrs. Tom (Virginia) Perkins and Marjorie Denk, both of Indianapolis; one son, Bob Denk, Miami Beach, Florida; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at 3 p.m.
at the Thompson Funeral Home, Delphi. Memorials may be made to the Carroll County Cancer Association.
