Robert Milton Denham, 72, Crawfordsville died 8:50 a.m. Friday in St. Clare Medical Center. Mr. Denham had previously worked at RR Donnelley & Sons and was a ranger at Camp Rotary. He served in the Army. His memberships included American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, past president of Campfire Girls, past chairman of Red Coats Auxiliary at St. Clare and past Boy Scouts troop leader. He was an Alamo HS graduate. He was born June 12, 1930 at Elmdale to Clarence and Liddy Dick Denham. He married Barbara Allen in 1959 at Crawfordsville. She survives.
Also surviving are four sons: Jeff, Crawfordsville; Greg, Waynetown; Tony, Chesterton and Dale Alan, Williamsport; two daughters, Lorinda "Sis" Swank and Liddy Summers, both of Crawfordsville; two sisters, Iva Moore, Kissimmee, Fla and Dora Reedy, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild. Three brothers: Orville, Bluford and Marvin and a sister, Sadie Price are deceased. Funeral services are scheduled 10 a.m. Monday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Russell Robold and Rev. Sam Peck officiating. Burial with VFW/American Legion services will be in Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home. - kbz
