Waynetown, Ind. - Mrs. Lyddy Margaret Denham, 74, of Alamo, died yesterday (March 6, 1967) at the Logansport Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years and in serious condition for about six weeks. She was born Sept. 27, 1892, in Pulaski, County, Ky., the daughter of Adam and Sally Hughes Dick. She was married to Clarence Denham on March 27, 1910. She moved with her husband to Indiana in 1927 and resided in the Wingate, Elmdale and Alamo communities. Surviving are four sons, Orville and Robert, both of Crawfordsville Rt 3, Marvin of Alamo and blueford of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Iva Moore and Mrs. Sadie Price, both of Orlando and Mrs. Dora Reedy of Kissimmee, Fla,; a sister, Mrs. Sara Warren of Kentucky; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one granddaughter and one sister. She was a member of the Christian Church in Kentucky. The body is at the Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown where arrangements are incomplete. - kbz

ALAMO – Mrs. Lyddy Margaret
Denham, 74, resident of this community since 1942, died at a Logansport
hospital at 5 a.m. Saturday of a heart attack. Mrs. Denham had been in failing
health for several years and seriously ill for six weeks. Born Sept. 27, 1892,
in Pulaski County, Ky., she was the daughter of Adam and Sally Hughes Dick. She
was married March 27, 1910, to Clarence Denham, who preceded her in death in
1964. Mrs. Denham lived in Kentucky until 1927, when the family moved to
Indiana. They resided in the Wingate and Elmdale neighborhoods before moving to
Alamo. She belonged to the Christian Church in Kentucky. The survivors include
four sons, Orville and Robert Denham, both of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville, Marvin
Denham of Alamo and Blueford Denham of Orlando, Fla.; three daughters, Mrs. Iva
Moore and Mrs. Sadie Price, both of Orlando, and Mrs. Dora Reedy of Kissimee,
Fla.; a sister, Mrs. Sarah Warren of Kentucky; 18 grandchildren, and 16
great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a granddaughter and a
sister, Mrs. Rosie Loveless. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at
Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown, where friends may call after 3 p.m. Monday.
Rev. Morris Finch will officiate, with burial in Alamo Cemetery. – jlr
