Waynetown - Clarence Clay Denham, 75, formerly of Rt 3 Crawfordsville, died at Small's Rest Home in Waynetown at 7:55 p.m. Sunday. He had been ailing six years. He was born in Pulaski Co, Ky., Jan 23, 1889, to Joshua and Ellen Lovelace Denham. He was married to Liddy Margaret Dick March 27, 1910, in Kentucky. They came to Indiana in 1927 and farmed in Fountain, Parke and Montgomery Counties. Mr. Denham is survived by his wife, who moved with her husband to Small's Rest Home and who still resides there; four sons, Arvil Denham of Rt. 3 Crawfordsville, Marvin and Robert Denham, both of Alamo and Blueford Denham of Rt 2 Crawfordsville; three daughters, Mrs. Iva Moore and Mrs. Sadie Price, both of Orlando, Fla., and Mrs. Dora Lee Reedy of Kissimmee, Fla.; one brother, James Denham of Bloomington; one half brother, Ernest Denham of Somerset, Ky; 15 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, E.A. Denham. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Servies Funeral Home in Waynetown. Rev. Morris Finch will officiate. Burial will be in the Alamo Cemetery Friends may call at the funeral home.

Waynetown - Funeral services for Clarence C. Denham were held Thursday afternoon at the Servies Funeral Home with Rev. Morris Finch officiating. Mrs. Mary Mullen played organ music including requested hymns "When They Ring Those Golden Bells," Never Alone," and "Old Rugged Cross, and "Beyond the Sunset." Serving as pall bearers and assisting with the flowers were hunting friends:Howard Farley, Lee Cory, Joe Anglin, Fred Fulwider, Raymond Thomas and Robert Thompson. Burial was in the Alamo Cemetery.
